Kit is a unique Shagya Arabian. She is very 'been there, done that'. She is beautiful to watch as she grazes or lopes through the pastures.
Kit was born in Hungary but has been here in the states most of her life with her brother, Vitez (also available for adoption and can still be ridden). Both have experience performing in various parades and shows. Kit was a show jumper. We have been told she shouldn't be ridden any longer due to a sore hip, but she shows no signs of lameness or uncomfortableness. She loves being groomed and having her back stroked. She is truly a love.
Unfortunately, their previous owner had a series of surgeries that prohibits him from being able to care for them any longer. The family was heartbroken to give them up as they have cared for and loved them since birth. We are looking for homes for both of them. They are happy together but not particularly bonded, so we could rehome them separately.
Kit is up to date on vaccinations, dentals, worming and farrier. They are best on a soaked pellet diet as her teeth are a bit worn. She still nibbles on fine hay and chopped forage as a snack. She is on 1/2 Prascend pill for low level Cushings but shows no signs of thick coat, barrel belly, or sluggishness. She is wonderful! She would be a wonderful companion for both human and horse (mare or gelding).
