Vitez is a 26yo Shagya Arabian and is still rideable. You would NEVER know he is 26! He is full of life, sound, very well trained, responsive, respectful with a wonderful personality. He was trained in the Parelli method of natural horsemanship and has extensive experience in parades and Hungarian games. (Re-enactments of Calvary and sword fights and so on). Please see his wonderful videos of being ridden in March 2025. He is just lovely to ride and a great mover.
Vitez was born in Hungary, but has been here in the states most of his life with his sister, Kit (also available for adoption). Unfortunately, their previous owner had a series of surgeries that prohibits him from being able to care for them any longer. The family was heartbroken to give them up as they have cared for and loved them since birth. We are looking for homes for both of them and would be overjoyed if they could go together (if at all possible).
Vitez is up to date on vaccinations, dentals, worming and farrier. His eats a soaked pellet diet of senior grain and Timothy Hay pellets as his teeth are a bit worn. He still nibbles on short pasture grass as a snack.
