Nomad’s Story

Meet Nomad, a 15-year-old Arabian gelding whose intelligence, kindness, and athletic spirit make him truly unforgettable. Once a trail-riding and endurance competitor, Nomad now enjoys the simple pleasures of life—grazing peacefully with his herd mates and soaking up gentle attention from humans.

Nomad thrives on companionship and loves being groomed, rubbed, and included in natural horsemanship ground games and liberty work. Calm and cooperative, he stands quietly for veterinary and farrier care, though sometimes he prefers to wait on his back right foot—he just likes to be handled on his own terms! Easy to care for, Nomad is an easy keeper who enjoys a wide variety of feeds.

In July 2024, Nomad found his perfect forever home with Patricia and her family, joining their sweet gelding, Junior. Together, they now roam 15 acres alongside goats and cows, enjoying the peaceful and loving environment they deserve.
