Please include Sundance Horse Rescue in your charity donations. We rely on the generous support of donors, friends, and sponsors. 100% of your donations go to the care and well-being of the horses and the maintenance of their home and healing place.

More ways to donate:

  • General Gifts

    • We are grateful for any amount, and all funds will go directly to the care of the horses.

    • Give a Gift on behalf of a friend or family member
      Send a gift to someone special. You and/or your special person will receive an official electronic “gift letter” with a photo of one of our horses and their story, acknowledging your gift on behalf of your recipient. The gift amount can be shown or hidden.

  • One-time or monthly sponsorships available.  

  • You can sponsor a horse per month or per year, or endow the retirement of one of our sanctuary horses.

  • Give the Gift of Sponsorship

    • The recipient will receive a “Certificate of Sponsorship” with stories and photos of their sponsored horse. Or, you can let them choose their favorite horse!

The below Wish List has items we need all the time and items for one-time purchase. We welcome any amount towards the purchase of these items. If you see an item you would like the rescue to have, please let us know that this is how you would like your donation used. You can either send us the donation amount via PayPal or check, or you can purchase an electronic Amazon Gift Card or Valley Vet Supply Gift Card.

Hay and Supplements:

  • Grain: $30/bag – Grain: one bag of grain (low-carb Senior, Timothy Hay Pellets, etc.)

  • Hay: $25/bale – Good quality hay: one MONTH supply for ONE horse is 8 bales ($200/month for one horse)

  • Supplements: $150/month – Glucosamine, Vitamin E, Selenium, Salt, Flax – joint function and health for horses with arthritis

 

Hooves and Medical:

  • Farrier trims and specialty shoeing: $60/horse/trim every 8 weeks = $390/year for one horse

  • Prascend prescription medication: $100 – covers one month of Prascend for one horse with Cushing’s Disease

  • Equioxx prescription medication: $51 – covers one month of Equioxx for one horse with arthritis

 

Winter Blankets:

  • $100–$140 – Good quality rain sheets for all our horses and heavier blankets for our malnourished or senior horses. Mainly size 74, 75, or 76. Clip front is preferred (we have 10–14 blankets to put on and off each day, so clips are easier).

 

Barn Supplies and Other:

  • $18 – Feeding buckets: for feeding out supplements from local feed store (need 4)

  • $50 – Rubber stall mats from local feed store (need 12)

  • Pole fencing or stall/shelter making supplies

  • $3000 – Fencing: contribute to the purchase of new posts, boards, and labor to replace falling down paddock fencing

  • $4500 – Used all-terrain 4x4 ranch vehicle to haul fencing, manure, 50 lb supplement bags, equipment, tools, etc.

  • $4500 – Used horse trailer to bring horses into the rescue and deliver them to new homes. Also used to evacuate horses and other animals in case of emergencies.
