Cypress’s Story

 

Meet Cypress, a beautiful and playful 16-year-old Thoroughbred mare who is ready to enjoy a peaceful, happy life as a companion horse. Though she was once ridden, Cypress now shines as a gentle friend who thrives on human connection and calm pastures. She respects your space, loves being groomed, and delights in a refreshing squirt from the hose or a sweet treat of apples or grain with her hay.

Cypress has a playful, affectionate personality and gets along well with other horses and farm friends. She enjoys grazing peacefully, but also loves to be where her humans are—especially if treats are involved! Her friendly, easygoing nature makes her a joy to spend time with.

 

Thanks to a wonderful family in Nevada City, Cypress now has her forever home on 10 acres alongside horses, goats, and other farm companions. She is thriving in her new environment, enjoying her days in lush pastures while sharing love and companionship with her human and equine friends.
