Miley – February 2021

 

We are delighted to share that Miley has been adopted! He is now enjoying his dream life in Sonoma, grazing on lush green pastures across 500 acres with a herd of five other horses.

About Miley:
 

Miley is a 24-year-old Quarter Horse gelding who has been lovingly cared for by his previous owner for the past 15 years. Though he is older, he remains in excellent shape, social, and easygoing.

 

Personality & Temperament:

• Friendly and interactive with people, other horses, and farm animals

• Thrives in a herd environment and enjoys companionship

• Calm, patient, and well-mannered in daily care and handling

 

Riding & Skills:

• Best suited for an intermediate rider who is confident and experienced

• Comfortable on trails; previously ridden by children under instructor supervision

• Always ridden in a bitless bridle (included) and treeless saddles

• Barefoot for 15 years; stands quietly for vet, trimmer, tacking, and mounting

 

Care & Health:

• Up to date on worming and barefoot trims

• Previous owner provided natural living conditions emphasizing movement, grazing, and companionship

 

Miley is a gentle, social, and well-loved horse who thrives in a spacious, natural environment with friends to share it with.
