Meet Cowboy – December 2021

 

Cowboy is a 17-year-old, 15.2 hh gentle gelding with a kind and steady nature. He came to us along with another horse from a family facing hardships during the pandemic. While his companion needed extensive care for a broken pelvis, Cowboy mainly required healthy feed and routine veterinary, dental, and farrier attention. He is now healthy, happy, and up to date on vaccinations, worming, teeth floating, and barefoot trims.

 

Highlights:

• Formerly a Sheriff's Posse horse—suggesting he is calm, reliable, and fairly bomb-proof

• Expected to excel in ground work, arena work, and trail riding

• Gentle, steady, and non-spooky—ideal for riders seeking a trustworthy partner

• Still being assessed for training, with lots of hidden talents to uncover
