We are thrilled to announce that Epic has found his perfect match with an experienced, horse-loving gal nearby. He will be loved, exercised, and spoiled, and we couldn’t be happier for both of them!

About Epic:

Epic is a handsome 16 hh Bay Thoroughbred who came to us after his previous owner could no longer care for him due to financial challenges. During his time at the rescue, we’ve spent months riding, loving, and getting to know him, and he has proven to be a gentle, respectful, and well-mannered horse.

Personality & Temperament:

Calm, patient, and affectionate without being pushy
Stands quietly for vet, farrier, grooming, and other care
Great with children, enjoys hose/sprinkler play, and loves toys
Free lunges well, responding to walk, trot, and canter
Forms strong bonds and may nuzzle or rest his forehead on you

Riding & Training:

Comfortable bareback or under saddle, arena or trail
Responsive to natural horsemanship cues, gentle touch, leg cues, and direct or neck reining
Enjoys exploring new sights and smells with confidence
Gets along well with other horses and farm animals; thrives in pasture with companions
