Adopted

Rios was adopted along with her companion, Sweet Tea, to a lovely young family here in Penn Valley.  The parents and the 10yo *horse-crazy* daughter are over the moon with excitement for their adventures to come. We are so grateful and thrilled for the family - and the horses!

 

Rios is a striking 14-year-old Arabian gelding with a very gentle, calm, and affectionate personality. He loves attention and grooming and truly enjoys spending quiet time with his people. Along with his kind nature, he is an incredibly handsome horse with a beautiful presence about him.

 

Rios has experience as a trail riding horse and is a smooth, enjoyable ride with easy transitions. He collects up beautifully and carries himself with softness and balance.

 

He stands well for the farrier, tacking, mounting, and dismounting, and has a quiet, willing attitude that makes him enjoyable to work with both on the ground and under saddle.

 

With his affectionate nature and calm demeanor, Rios would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a gentle horse to bond with and enjoy on the trails.

 

He is currently up to date on vaccinations and deworming, dental care, and farrier work.
