Sweet Tea was adopted along with her companion, Rios, to a lovely young family here in Penn Valley.  The parents and the 10yo *horse-crazy* daughter are over the moon with excitement for their adventures to come. We are so grateful and thrilled for the family - and the horses!

Sweet Tea is a beautiful 12-year-old Arabian/Quarter Horse cross mare with a sweet disposition and a people-loving personality. She enjoys attention, loves being groomed, and will often come over just to stand quietly with you and enjoy your companionship.

 

In her earlier years, Sweet Tea participated in endurance races and trail riding, and she carries herself with the calm confidence of a horse that has seen and done a great deal. She stands well for the farrier, tacking, mounting, and dismounting, and is a smooth, enjoyable ride with easy transitions.

 

Sweet Tea has a kind and willing nature and would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate horse to enjoy time with both on the ground and under saddle.

 

She is currently up to date on vaccinations and deworming, dental care, and farrier work.
