Tootsie & Pistol are a fun pair of mini mules who have been together their entire lives and share a very special bond. These two are full of personality and charm, and it is impossible not to smile around them.

 

Pistol has participated in rodeos, parades, costume events and more, and has been ground driven. Besides bowing, one of his cutest tricks is his ability to “salute” by rearing up on command. Tootsie has her own special talent and will happily offer you her front leg to “shake”.  They are still getting comfortable in their new surroundings, but with a gentle hand and calm voice are easy to catch/lead. They will thrive in a home with people they can begin to build a bond with.

 

Their owner is now disabled and heartbreakingly no longer able to care for them. While they have not had a great deal of handling or training over the last few years, they have remained sweet and manageable little companions.

 

They have not been around children and can still be somewhat uneasy around dogs after being chased when they were younger. Because of this, they would do best in a calm and understanding home where they can continue to build confidence and feel safe.

 

Vaccinations, dental care, deworming and hoof trims are all being updated this week so they will be ready for their new home.

 

Since they have spent their whole lives together, they will only be adopted out as a pair. We are looking for a loving forever home that will cherish these two little personalities and provide them with a safe enclosed shelter at night to protect them from predators.
