At 27 years young, Vitez is living proof that age is just a number. Spend even a few minutes with him - watching him move, listening to his nickers as you bring his dinner or just being close and quite with him -you would never guess his years—he is full of life, bright-eyed, and still very much rideable.

Vitez is the definition of a true gentleman: sound, well-trained, responsive, and incredibly respectful. Under saddle, he is an absolute joy—smooth, balanced, and a beautiful mover – from gliding over cavaletti to side stepping at a trot, he clearly takes pride in his work. Whether you’re an experienced rider or simply someone who appreciates a well-trained horse, Vitez offers a riding experience that is both comfortable and rewarding.

Trained in the Parelli method of natural horsemanship, Vitez has a strong foundation built on trust and communication. His unique background also includes extensive experience in parades and Hungarian games—exciting cavalry-style reenactments featuring precision riding, sword work, and more. These experiences have shaped him into a confident, steady partner who thrives in engaging environments.

Born in Hungary, Vitez spent most of his life in the United States alongside his sister, Kit (who is also available for adoption). They were deeply loved and cared for by their previous owner since birth. Sadly, due to a series of surgeries, their owner is no longer able to provide the care they deserve. This was a heartbreaking decision for the family, and now Vitez is looking for a new chapter—a forever home where he will be just as cherished.

Vitez is up to date on all vaccinations, dental care, deworming, and farrier visits. As he’s gotten older, his teeth have naturally worn down, so he thrives on a soaked pellet diet consisting of senior grain and Timothy hay pellets. He still enjoys nibbling on short pasture grass as a little treat, reminding you that his spirit is as youthful as ever.
