Gracie is a healthy and sound 14 year old flea-bitten gray Mustang mare. She has been living her last several years out on 20 acres with a herd of horses with not much human interaction. She is now with us here at the rescue and softening each time we work with her. She is kind, gentle and likes to be close to you, but not on your toes. She is gaining confidence and learns very quickly. She used to be ridden as shown in the below fuzzy photo and has been re-started under saddle for ground work, but not ridden by us yet. She will need some time to bond and trust, but we believe she will make a wonderful friend for your adventures. She is comfortable with any of the volunteers grooming her, leading and putting her mask on. Even children. She really needs her own human family to bond with and share some wonderful adventures with.
